Chris is a disabled army veteran injured by an IED (Improvised
Explosive Device) in Iraq and received extensive and complicated
injuries, including crippling pain, leading to Chris being confined to
his bed for almost 5 years.
In 2015, some 10 years after the incident, Chris recieved the
appropriate medical care and rehabilitation to enable him to lead a
much more independent life, now he sees a good future ahead of
Chris will never walk again, he is wheelchair bound. In light of this
new independence Chris purchased his trike and has thrown
himself into giving back to the charities that have helped and supported him. His fund raising efforts has grown into B.R.A.V.E. where through biking and the biker community he raises money for other military charities and supporting individual veterans.
The charities that B.R.A.V.E. are
supporting are not in receipt of
any government funding and
rely on the generosity of the
general public who want to
support their veterans like
